Tina Broad, SongMakers Project Lead, APRA AMCOS, said, “Collaboration and connection makes the global industry tick: just about every great song has been written in a team process.

“And connection through music is also a powerful part of how we’ve all coped through the trials of the past year.

“We can’t wait to meet some budding new songwriters in Coffs Harbour through these sessions and keep the connections going as we match them with some really inspiring mentors.”

Naomi Steinborner, Blue Sky Community Services, Coffs Harbour said, “We’re excited to support these workshops happening in Coffs Harbour and see it as an amazing opportunity for young artists to collaborate and network with industry professionals.”

Successful applicants will attend the two-day workshop at Coffs’ Multicultural Hub on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 January, 10am – 4pm.

There will be a showcase opportunity on Day Two where friends and families can celebrate and hear the new songs.
