David Ingram, well known journalist and blogger, kept the crowd entertained reading some of his favourite excerpts from the book.

The book takes the reader back to when Rob Anderson leapt at the opportunity to become Assistant Attorney General in Western Samoa.

At 37 years of age, Rob swapped his busy modern Sydney legal practice to become the second most senior official on the Pacific Island.

What followed was an experience steeped in tribal loyalties, myth and magic, with Rob and his family living and working in an isolated and somewhat primitive world.

Rob Anderson said “I was overwhelmed by the large number of friends and family who attended the book launch and the encouragement and enthusiasm on the night.”

In fact every copy of ‘Lawyer on the Paradise’ sold out on the night.

“We’ve had to do a second print run,” Rob’s wife Lee Anderson said.

Rob’s book will be available at the Galleries in the Gardens on Marine Drive within the next few weeks.
