Having already secured the title of Australia’s most beautiful mainland golf course for the 18th year running in the Ausgolf Golf Course Guide, Bonville has been named Australia’s favourite golf course for the fifth year in a row.

Decided by a popular vote run by Golf Australia Magazine, Bonville amassed 4,992 votes in the annual poll.

It placed well ahead of Tasmania’s Barnbougle Dunes which attracted 4,187 votes and the Hilltop course at Mollymook which finished with the third most votes.

Bonville Golf Resort general manager Brad Daymond said the result is a thrill.

“Topping the list for passionate everyday golfers as their favourite place to play is a great outcome.

“To do it five years in a row is incredible,” Mr Daymond said.

He added that for the past 20 years the Bonville team has been working on incremental improvements to all aspects of the property to ensure a very high-quality experience for all of the resort’s guests.

“To know that we continue to deliver a great experience is extremely pleasing,” he said.

“It’s a testament to our staff who, in an extremely challenging year, have delivered a wonderful product and genuine customer service.”

In a massive thumbs-up for golf on the Coffs Coast, Coffs Harbour Golf Club came in fifth on the list with 1,045 votes.
