Ladies from New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland arrived in Tea Gardens earlier this month to take part in the bi-annual Quilting Retreat.

The event was hosted by Jenifer Gimbert, owner of Black Possum Fabrics.

Celebrating its twelfth year since inception, fourteen ladies were in attendance taking advantage of the large array of products on offer.

Not just a working weekend – the ladies commenced their retreat with welcome drinks and nibblies at Black Possum Fabrics whilst they carefully chose their projects from the wonderful range of fabrics and designs.

Saturday is the busy day – it’s sew, sew, sew then the group enjoyed a wonderful three course meal at Tillermans who provided excellent food and customer service.

Back to business on Sunday with all out efforts to complete selected projects before saying goodbye to the wonderful friends whose company was enjoyed throughout the weekend.
