Auction prizes ramp up for Elly Stig Memorial Golf Day

BIG-HEARTED support from local businesses and individuals is building a bountiful auction for the much anticipated 30th Elly Stig Memorial Golf Day at the Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club on Sunday January 7, 2024.

“We are thrilled to share the extraordinary generosity of our major sponsors and donors towards our Auction,” said organisers Ray Stig and Raelene Squires.

“These remarkable contributions not only add a layer of excitement to our event but also significantly enhance our fundraising efforts for the Children’s Cancer Institute.”

A heartfelt thank you goes to North Coast Boating Centre, Urunga, for their donation of two kayaks.

“This generous contribution not only adds to the thrill of our golf day but also highlights the diverse support we receive from local businesses,” said Raelene.

Psillakis Surfboards have added a touch of coastal flair to the prize collection with the donation of a mid-length surfboard.

Gregory Jewellers have contributed a sterling silver thick squared curb 55cm link chain valued at $1150.

“This piece not only reflects the fine craftsmanship of Gregory Jewellers but also underscores their commitment to supporting our cause.

“For those seeking an exclusive experience, we are delighted to announce the donation of two tickets to the President’s tent for the Coffs Harbour Cup 2024.”

Gratitude goes to Nambucca Heads Butchery for their generous donation of “a barbecue that adds an exciting culinary element to our special day”.

Craig and Melissa Marsay of Nambucca Glass have donated a security door made to fit, valued at $726.00.

“This thoughtful contribution adds a touch of safety and elegance to our array of prizes.”

Craig and Melissa have also donated four rounds of 18 holes of golf at the Nambucca Island Golf Club.

The Bowraville-Nambucca Jockey Club has kindly donated two VIP Lounge entries to a race meet (excluding the Bowra Cup) including beverages and food.

“As we prepare to tee off on January 7, 2024, these donations and many more from our close-knit community serve as a testament to the collective power of our community,” she said.

The funds raised through these items will contribute significantly to advancing crucial research at the Children’s Cancer Institute.
