Officers from the Northern Region Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team commenced an investigation. Following inquiries, the man was arrested in bushland in Bateau Bay following a short foot pursuit last week (Friday 24 August 2018). He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with an outstanding warrant, common assault (DV), destroy or damage property (DV), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (domestic), and resist officer in execution of duty. The man was refused bail and appeared at Wyong Local Court last week where he was granted conditional bail to appear before the same court on Monday 27 August 2018. An Apprehended Violence Order has been served.
