Salt Ash Public School’s Aleisha Hockey has a great attitude and is always encouraging others to do their best. Marlie Johnson of Medowie Public School was awarded because she shows wonderful empathy towards others. Leilana Latu showed her honesty and concern for others when she handed in a piece of lost jewellery which was later returned to its owner. Nate Piening of Grahamstown Public School cares for the schools chickens and they are always well fed; he also volunteers to help out in the school canteen. Hunter River High’s Bethany Sarginson helped out in the canteen on election day where her efforts raised money for a local school. Ellie Ping of Irrawang High School was nominated by MarketPlace Raymond Terrace for helping out at the PBL presentations.
