The annual Pindimar/Bundabah Market Day is just around the corner and organisers are calling for more home brewers and beer tasters to join in the fun at the 3 November event.
“It gets bigger every year,” Betty Economos said.
“There’s homebrewing, thong throwing, a cake baking competition and white elephant stall, just to name a few activities on offer.”
To help wash down the home brew, there’s a sausage or egg and bacon sangas and coffee and tea for those who don’t wish to imbibe.
A chocolate wheel and the ‘cupie doll’ lady will be there as well along with the Rural Fire Service and Red Cross.
There’s also a vintage car display and SES storm truck on hand.
“We’d love to have more cake bakers in our competition and there are still spots available for car boot or trailer stalls to turn your unwanted goods into cash,” Betty said.
Stall spaces cost just $10 for a car or trailer and if you’d like to donate to the White Elephant Stall contact Ian/Bea Treharne of 4997 9717 or 0419 273 124 to arrange a pick-up of donated saleable items.
To reserve a spot for your car boot sale or trailer contact Betty Economos on 4997 2081 or email or at bettyeconomos1@gmail.com
The Market Day is held at the Pindimar Community Centre, Koree Street, North Pindimar.
