A few weeks ago, the Karuah Festival, last week it was the Myall River Festival Spectacular, and this Saturday it’s Pindimar turn for the annual Pindimar/Bundabah Market day. ‘’This day seems to get bigger each year with many things to see and do, plus plenty of stalls to inspect, plants to purchase, and the White Elephant Stall to peruse,” local organiser Betty Economos said. “As usual, we need home brewers and taste testers for the Home Brewing Competition in the Community Hall and the Thong Throwing Competition is in its usual spot.” If you love to bake then make a cake and enter your creation in the Baking Competition. And there’s something new to entice the crowds. “This year we have a new resident to the area who is a skilled chainsaw carver who will be carving names on palings,” Betty said. Other highlights include the Vintage Car Display, Mid Coast Coastal Care, RFS Fire Wise stall with vital information on how to protect your home and property and the SES Storm Truck. If you love a flutter, have a go on the Chocolate Wheel with plenty of goodies to be won. And if you need to clean out your unwanted goods you can either donate them to the white elephant stall or load them in your car or on your trailer and make some cash by taking up a space and joining the car boot trailer group selling their wares. Betty said, “Stalls or Car Boot Spaces are still available at $10.00 each.” To book a spot call Betty Economos on 4997 2081 or 0488 997 027. If you have things to donate you can drop them down at the Pindimar Community Hall on the Friday morning before the market. If your goods are too big for you to handle, call Ian or Bea Treharne: 4997 9717 or 0413 126 470 or Bob Bertram on 4997 0922 or 0419 404 343.
