Weather permitting, works should be complete by November.

Meanwhile, thanks to a Recreational Fishing Trust Grant, a four-person fish cleaning table has been installed at the Moira Parade boat ramp in Hawks Nest.

The new table replaces an old and tired structure, with the works including a new concrete slab, drainage and the table.

In addition, planning work is underway on an upgrade to Tea Garden’s rising sewer main, and the Hawks Nest Sewage Treatment plant, which will ensure it can meet the demands of expected population growth.

These projects represent a significant investment in Hawks Nest Tea Gardens sewage treatment infrastructure.
