“It’s an incredible location and we are really excited to get started, we want to provide an all inclusive dining, drinking and entertainment experience.

“We want to broaden the dining experience to make it appealing to more people for different occasions, so we keep the classic menu items which are affordable but also offer things which are a little bit different and something for special occasions including a choice of fine dining, local and imported wines and cocktails too.

“It will be a family friendly venue and we will be adding games and equipment so kids can play and make it appealing to families, it’s a big space so we want to make the most of it.

“Local produce is something we are passionate about which means working with local food producers and local breweries to offer our customers fantastic local produce.

“The location and views make it an ideal entertainment venue and a platform for local bands and musos to showcase their talent.

“We want to broaden the entertainment to include more variety such as classical music, community dance groups, indie music, local artwork and so forth, we are open to new things.

“We would also utilise our network to attract touring performers to put on big, high production value shows, but we will always include local support acts on the bill.

“The backdrop is amazing so we want to make the most of it and I think performers will want to play here,” added Mansfield.

Amplify Events were announced as the new tenants last week and with the Christmas countdown looming they are cautiously optimistic to open before the holidays.

“We definitely want to be open before Christmas, it is an important part of the year for the hospitality industry.

“We plan on making some minor refurbishments to give the place a facelift but we won’t open until we’re ready, as we don’t want to rush and compromise the quality.

“We’re aiming to deliver the best waterfront bar, restaurant and entertainment venue on the New South Wales North Coast, so we want to make sure we get it right.

“That said, we will be doing everything in our power to get the doors open as soon as possible, as we want to welcome everybody in for a drink as soon as possible,” said Mansfield.
