The Parents and Citizens (P&C) committees of Wirreanda Public School, Medowie Public School and Medowie Christian School have joined forces to present Medowie Brickfest as a combined fundraising event.

In conjunction with Rainbow Bricks, this lego fan event will be held at Medowie Christian School this Saturday 15th September from 10am to 4pm.

Lego builders from across the Hunter region, the Central Coast and Sydney will be exhibiting their creations for all to enjoy.

Along with the many lego displays on show, there will also be a children’s build area, a lego raffle, and a great selection of lego parts, mini figs and lego sets for sale.

A barbecue offering $2.50 sausage sandwiches and $4 bacon and egg rolls will be available to keep you well fed during the event, with drinks and sweets also on offer, and the all important coffee van to get you through the day.

Entry prices for the day are very reasonable at $15 per family and $5 for individual entry.

All proceeds will be split between all three Medowie schools, ensuring our entire community will benefit from the event.

Kate Lord, from Medowie Public School P&C, told News Of The Area, “It’s really nice to be part of a community event involving the three schools in Medowie working together towards a common goal.”

So, if you have a child attending one of our schools or if you are just a lego fan at heart, come to the Medowie Brickfest to have a bricking great time.
