Air Force Hornet Port Stephens Australia Day flypast

Up to three RAAF F/A-18 Hornets will conduct flypasts of communities in the Port Stephens region between 12.25 pm and 12.45 pm on Australia Day.

 The Hornets from Number 2 Operation Conversion Unit (2OCU) at RAAF Base Williamtown will fly in a formation over Nelson Bay, Hawks Nest, and Raymond Terrace before returning to their home base.
 
The aircraft will fly at speeds up to 800 km/hr and no lower than 75metres above ground level.
 
Please note that this display is subject to variables including weather, air traffic control and availability, and may be subject to cancellation or delay.
