Newcastle-based artist, Paul Maher has been exhibiting art for 30 years both nationally and internationally receiving worthy accolades.

Well-versed in a variety of art disciplines including suburban landscape painting and drawing and ceramics, he also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) and a Post-Graduate Diploma of Painting.

“Paul has achieved numerous prizes and residencies and is extremely well qualified to judge the AGL Port Stephens Art Competition,” The Tomaree Museum Association stated.

Paul’s work has been exhibited in galleries including Nick Mitzevich’s 249 gallery, The Lock Up’s John Paynter Gallery and Von Bortouch Galleries as well as the Newcastle Art Gallery and various private collections across the world.

The AGL Port Stephens Art Competition strives to reflect the heritage and sustainability themes of the Tomaree Museum Project.

This project aims to develop a Tomaree Museum which documents, protects and promotes the history and changing natural environment of Port Stephens, whilst also identifying challenges, risks and opportunities for the sustainable future of the region.

The Exhibition will take place from 23 January until 31 January 2021 at Broughtons at The Bay, Balcony level at d’Albora Marina Nelson Bay.
