AFL North Coast announce their junior best and fairest winners

AFL North Coast recognised their best junior players with best and fairest counts.

 

AFL North Coast have honoured its best junior players of the season with online end of year presentations of the 2021 best and fairest winners.

AFL North Coast held a week-long count of its best and fairest on its social media page, culminating with the announcement of the best and fairest winners in the Youth Girls, Under 15s, Under 13s, and Under 11s competition.

In a similar fashion to the Brownlow, votes were given to the top 3 players of each game of the season in a 3-2-1 format, with the top players decided on their average amount of votes per game.

Sawtell/Toormina Saints player Lilli-Yana Moody was the standout player of the Youth Girls competition, averaging 1.55 votes per game.

Her teammate in the undefeated Saints side Poppy Johnston finished second in the count with 1.44 votes per game.

Two Bellingen Bulldogs finished third and fourth in the best and fairest, with Deja Barlow finishing third (1.3 votes on average), and Amaia Wain fourth (1.2).

Jai Bowd won the Under 15 best and fairest with the Bellingen Bulldogs player having a phenomenal 2.54 votes per game.

Beau Guthrie from the Coffs Harbour Breakers finished runner up with 1.9 votes per game, with Tane Skinner from the Saints in third (1.09)

Isaac Luke from the Port Bombers was the Under 13 best and fairest with 1.76 votes per game in season 2021, closely followed by Coffs Harbour Breakers player Lincoln Chambers with 1.61, and teammate Luke Gough in third (1.46)

Zane Guthrie took out the under 11 best and fairest with the Coffs Harbour Breakers player averaging 2.3 votes per game.

Sawtell/Toormina Saints player Jude Couzens finished fourth with 1.46 votes per game.
