BELLINGEN’s number one Trip Advisor customer-voted tour in Bellingen, Bellingen Canoe Adventures, soaked up the full moon on Saturday night (24 July) with a group of paddlers.

The full moon was overhead in a crystal-clear night sky, Jody Newhouse, co-founder of Bellingen Canoe Adventures, told News Of The Area.

“During a full moon canoe tour, the canoes paddle using the light of the full moon to guide them on the river,” she said.

“The ambient light allows you to see almost everything you would see during the day.

“The nocturnal wildlife comes out to greet us and the stars twinkle.

“The guide helps them paddle and also is extremely knowledgeable on the star constellations and planets in the night sky.

“Customers are always excited and blown away by the sheer beauty,” said Jody.

“I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bellingen or the surrounding area.”
