Rotary was a part of the founding force behind the launch of PCYC in 1937. Dominic Teakle told News Of The Area, “Most of our programs are funded by donations and grants, we only get 10% government funding.” PCYC Life Governor Laurie Toscano told News Of The Area, “I have been involved for 40 years and started teaching gymnastics and I am still involved in the committee. “We try and get the local kids on the right track and provide a safe place to go,” he said.
