These short stories are now in the hands of the finalists judges who will independently rate them.

If you are the author of any of the stories listed below you will receive a certificate and a cash prize (where applicable) via mail.

Despite a lack of sponsorship due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a reduction in prize money this year, the number of entries has actually increased by some 30%.

We put this down to writers being isolated and with time on their hands to keep their creative spirit alive.

Full results will be posted shortly.

The winning stories listed below are in random order.

‘I.B’;’ Stolen & Found’; ‘Run Maree Run’; ‘Mrs Taylor’s Letter’; ‘Chasing Butterflies’; ‘The Hour Before Midnight’; ‘One Born Every Minute’; ‘Flying Solo’; ‘Dearest Cuz’; ‘Haiku’; ‘The Best Dressed Truckie in Aus’; ‘Ventilating’; ‘The First Day’; ‘Clean’; ‘Uncertain Times’; ‘Scar Sisters’; ‘Viola de Gamba’; ‘The Bus Stop’; ‘A Jolly Family’ and ‘The Suitcase.’
