Bunnings Warehouse Heatherbrae Complex Manager, Michele Hammond, who has been a part of the Bunnings team for 15 years, said she was excited to welcome local residents to the store as well as lending a helping hand in the community. “Team members are excited to help out local community groups in the lead up to the store opening and in the future,” Michele said. Several of the new team members are also qualified tradespeople with skills in horticulture machinery, plumbing and building and will be on hand to provide local residents with expert advice and tips for their D.I.Y. projects. “Bunnings provides a wide range of meaningful career development options for all team members, and I’m confident all our new recruits will relish the opportunity to learn and grow with us,” Michele said. Every weekend, team members will provide free D.I.Y. Workshops as well as great advice and inspiration for D.I.Y. projects in the home and garden.
