Anne and Kevin Haskew with their awards The couple were presented with Certificates of Appreciation and Life Membership of the MKEG annual general meeting at the Tea Gardens Hotel on 17 May. “It’s a great group of people to work with giving a good cause for living,” Kevin said. Anne and Kevin joined the MKEG in 1997. Anne has been a scrupulous treasurer and bookkeeper since 1999 while Kevin was President from 2001 till 2014, apart from a couple of years out. Secretary Ian Morphett said that Kevin had been particularly renowned for his incisive submissions to Council and State Government on environmental and planning matters.
