Myall Coast Mudcrabs fall to Forster Dolphins Sport by NOTA - May 7, 2016 The Myall Coast Mudcrabs travelled to Tuncurry to take on the current premiers and frontrunners Forster Dolphins last Saturday. Although beaten by four tries to nil and a score line of 26-0, the Mudcrabs toiled hard to combat the constant raids by Forster, however it was Forster who continued to keep the pressure on the Mudcrabs to score four tries and on a number of occasions finish just short of scoring. Unfortunately, the game was called off twenty minutes into the second half with a serious injury to Mudcrabs fullback, Nathan Colver, whilst awaiting the arrival of medical assistance. Although the Mudcrabs were soundly beaten by a well run Forster team, the players worked hard for their team namely, Ashley Rushby who defended strongly, Harrison Weir who worked in the tight exchanges, Pat Laver who made strong tackles and James Bowden who is continually looking for work. The Mudcrabs now have a Bye next week due to the NSW Country Championships being held in Armidale which will assist with a number of players who have some minor injuries and enable them to play the next match on 14 May against Gloucester at Gloucester. The Mudcrabs will need to win this match to ensure they do not lose touch with the competition leaders. By Sin BIN
