The ponies were part of the Spring Market held at the pub, which included a petting zoo and a number of local stalls.
Families enjoyed the spectacle of children riding around the gardens while having the chance to buy some locally produced goods.
Members of the Boomerang Bags initiative were also there, helping children decorate their own bags.
“Many children showed great talent and it was really interesting talking to the kids about plastic pollution,” Julie Sims said.
“They are so tuned in and totally understand why plastic does so much damage.”
The Spring Market followed on from a very successful Myall River Festival for Boomerang Bags.
“We sold over 230 bags and all our Boomerang produce bags as well,” Julie said.
“Our raffle was a great success and we had lots of great conversations, a generally fun day.”
Boomerang Bags will be back at the Christmas Market at the Tea Gardens Hotel on Saturday 22 December.
