It is a great opportunity to view the artists’ latest works, sip a drink while watching for the dolphins coming up the river and meet new people or old friends and the artists. Galleries in the Gardens, a local artists group, has become well known for artworks around town. Much of their art hangs in local homes and has also been purchased by visitors. Renowned for their exhibitions and community events, Galleries in the Gardens artists work in a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolours and oils. Gallery in the Gardens sculptors also turn out some decorative pieces and the printmakers continue to develop and change their work. It is a great night out, so come and join fellow art enthusiasts and perhaps book a table at the hotel for dinner afterwards. The exhibition continues from 9am until 3pm on Saturday 14.
