The Nelson Bay Golf Club is a stunningly beautiful 27-hole golf course which also serves as a community hub. Regular events at the club support local charities, including the Billy Angel Golf Classic which supports the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and the upcoming Rotary Club of Salamander Bay Golf Day and Family of League Golf Day. The natural beauty of the club’s grounds has seen it and its wildlife become an important part of many weddings and special events. The club currently has around 8,000 members and 70 volunteers.
