Drug supply charges following vehicle stop in Forster Forster, Tuncurry by NOTA - June 17, 2015 A man and a teenage boy will face court charged with alleged drug supply offences following a vehicle stop in Forster yesterday. About 5.25pm (Tuesday 16 June 2015), police from Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command were patrolling Head Street, Forster, when they allegedly observed a white Holden Commodore driving erratically. Police stopped the car and attempted to speak with the driver. The driver – a 17-year-old teenage boy – and the front passenger – an 18-year-old man – allegedly exited the vehicle and began walking towards a nearby building before being stopped by police. Both males and the car were subsequently searched. During the search of the teenage driver, officers allegedly located 22 tablets which police will allege to be the illicit drug MDMA. During the search of the passenger, officers allegedly located a clear resealable plastic bag containing a white crystalline substance which police will allege to be over 20 grams of Methylamphetamine (‘Ice’). Both were arrested and taken to Forster Police Station. The man was charged with supply prohibited drug (x2) and possess prohibited drug (x2). He was given conditional bail to appear before Forster Local Court next month (Wednesday 8 June 2015). The teenage boy was charged with supply prohibited drug (x2) and possess prohibited drug (x2). He was given conditional bail to appear before a children’s court on Wednesday 8 June 2015.
