WITH so much happening this year as part of the Coffs Harbour Buskers Festival, festival organisers want to remind locals and visitors that the first and only day the buskers will be in the city centre will be Friday September 30.

“We are excited to return even if it’s just for one day,” said event promoter John Logan.

“The city centre was where it all began over twenty years ago so we see it as very important to always have a presence there.

“Over that time, we have had so many good shows there and with just one day, we hope the City Square, where the shows take place, will be very busy,” said John.

The program kicks off around 10.30am and continues with three acts until around 1pm.

City centre shows will also take the traditional format where the show is performed, after which the busker offers his hat to the audience.

The festival runs from September 27 until October 2.
