MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions from this week on the A1 Pacific Highway between Bulahdelah and Coolongolook to carry out routine maintenance work on fauna crossings.

From Monday 29 August, single lane closures for southbound and northbound traffic will be in place at more than 20 locations along the Pacific Highway.

Work will be carried out from 7am to 5pm on weekdays and is expected to be completed in late-October, weather permitting.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
