Fifteen competition entries enthusiastically viewed by members and guests at the June meeting of the club. “An update on gardening products presented by Danielle from Blue Water Garden Centre at the meeting was really helpful,” said Margaret Wilkinson, Secretary of the Club. “Members love hearing new ideas and gardening tips and enjoy the catch up with like minded people in our community for meetings and outings.” Monthly meetings are held in the Nelson Bay Community Hall, Norburn Street on the third Tuesday of the month, commencing at 9.30 am with a trading table and a cuppa and chat before the meeting begins at 10 am. A speaker or garden type activity is organised to follow. The meeting scheduled for 19 July will feature experienced local landscaper and gardening expert John Kime as guest speaker. New members are most welcome to join. For enquiries, please contact Margaret on 49812881 or Membership Officer Sally Fitzgerald on 0488531777. By Marian SAMPSON
