Nambucca River Bridge Club

A feast fit for serious bridge players.

WE played twice this week, our usual session on Thursday, with the main event being on Saturday for our regular monthly celebration.

This month we celebrated the birthday of Stuart Thorne who’s wife made a spectacular cake that all members enjoyed.

Some of the boards this week were quite difficult to bid and play, but a few people managed well.

There are 635,013,559,600 possible bridge hands, so sometimes they are difficult to play.

The session resulted in Col Denney and Pete Rundle winning, with a percentage of 63.19% and earning them 0.30 master points.

A close second were Neil and Ali Tupper with 61.81% and 0.21 master points.

After the close of the bridge session, members indulged in food, champagne and fellowship.

Lots of laughter was heard all around the room.
