DEAR News Of The Area,

I DON’T know how many toilets Paul Mckeon (‘Harbour foreshores – let’s work on a compromise’, p24, NOTA, 3 June Edition) needs at the Jetty Foreshores, but for more than thirty years there have been three well spaced amenities in the reserve/park.

These amenities have been well serviced by the council staff on a daily basis.

They have showers and provide a safe and clean space for those that use the foreshores.

As for ice creams and drinks, my grandchildren could tell him where to find them.

They never had any trouble.
