Faulty Towers coming to Macksville on June 3 Nambucca Valley Nambucca Valley News by News Of The Area - Modern Media - May 20, 2022 The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is coming to Macksville ex-Services Club on June 3. FOR the first time ever, The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is coming to Macksville. The Macksville ex-Services Club, on Friday June 3, will be the host to an interactive theatrical event where the audience is immersed in the insanity and hilarious antics of Basil Faulty, his long suffering wife Sybil, and the ‘dunderhead’ restaurant waiter Manuel. Attendees will also enjoy a fine, three-course English themed meal. Guests are greeted on arrival by the acclaimed actors who usher them in and sit them down while bickering among themselves, correcting one another and trying to outdo each other. This sets the scene for what’s ahead, but the audience are in no way prepared for the ensuing chaos. Event promoters John Logan Entertainment say it is a night unlike any other. “I’ve done a lot of shows but this one is the funniest one I have ever been involved with,” said John Logan. “The actors are just so real.” To keep the show small and intimate like an English county restaurant, the venue has advised that there are only one hundred seats available and that the show is already half booked. The immersive and interactive show will be presented in the middle of the room, not on stage. Judy Ward, Club Manager, Macksville ex-Services Club said, “You can’t book online for this one so please get in touch by phone with the club or come in and book a table.” The Faulty Towers Dining Experience is brought to you by Interactive Theatre International, in association with promoters John Logan Entertainment and the Macksville ex-Services Club. Book at the club by calling 65 83144 (no online bookings).
