– ON 28 March 2022 Police arrested a 31-year-old man at a Macksville address who was wanted on two outstanding warrants and who had been committing further offences whilst avoiding apprehension.

During the incident the accused man became violent towards Police and resisted arrest. The accused man was charged at Macksville Police Station and was refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court on 29 March 2022.

The accused man was subsequently refused bail by the Court with a number of matters adjourned to both 13 April and 2 May 2022 at Kempsey Local Court.

1. On 27 March 2022 Police arrested a 45-year-old female driver in Nambucca Heads after she returned a positive Random Breath Test.

The accused woman underwent a breath analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station and returned a High Range PCA reading of 0.177.

The accused woman was issued with a Court Attendance Notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on 12 May 2022.
