THEY play a vital role in all aspects of North Coast Football’s community competitions. Now those involved in the region’s female football are once again being recognised. Nominations for the 2022 Female Football Week Awards are now open, with the awards recognising the contributions made to the female game over the last 12 months. The 2022 Female Football Week Awards acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of individuals that have made significant contributions to women and girls’ football throughout northern NSW in the last twelve months. So, if you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to female football, please don’t hesitate to acknowledge their efforts by nominating them for an award. Nominations are open for the following categories; Female Football Week Coach of the Year, Referee of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Male Champion of the Year, and Club of the Year. Northern NSW Football invites affiliated Clubs, Members and Member Zones to nominate candidates for selection. Nominations close 5pm, Friday 15 April, with the award winners to be announced at the Northern NSW Football Female Football Week Networking Night on Saturday, 14 May. By Aiden BURGESS
