COFFS Harbour Golf Club Life Member Margaret Holloway is moving to Canberra to be closer to her family.

Margaret spent 38 years at the club and has made many friends and her happy nature and smile will be
very much missed by everyone.

Margaret joined the golf club in 1984 and soon became a valued member contributing to the success of ladies golf.

Margaret was on many committees including the Board of Directors, the Ladies Committee, the Festival of Golf Committee and was the Ladies Vice President.

The golf club ladies gifted Margaret a photo of the 12th hole, some flowers and champagne.

Some funny stories were told about Margaret and in particular a story where she used to measure the young girls skirts to ensure they were an appropriate length when she was Vice President in the 1980s.

How times have changed.

Coffs Harbour Golf Club wishes Margaret all the best for the next chapter in her life.
