How would you best describe a dining experience at The Amble Inn?

“Top Knotch Brasserie is a family owned business and we try and portray our unique family closeness through our food and atmosphere.

“I would say we provide a relaxing and chilled out experience!,” said Karen Dawson, Head Chef, Top Knotch Brasserie.

Who is behind the menu? What inspires the style of food on offer?

“Our menu is written by myself as Head Chef and our owner, with a few inputs from other staff members.

“We provide home style pub food with a mixture of pasta, salads, steaks etc.

What does the Chef recommend and what does the Chef like to eat at home?

“Definitely our lamb cutlets!

“We make them fresh to order, crumbed and fried.

“Delicious!

“At home it’s mainly fresh salads and some meat,” said Karen.

Can you tell us a bit of the history of the restaurant and what inspired the owner to create such a venue?

“We took over the restaurant in 2016 and we have loved it.

“With the business being family run it is an environment to be proud to be a part of.

“I have worked in numerous locations and numerous venues, but being able to work alongside your family would have to be the most inspiration,” Karen said.
