‘TEA and Sympathy’, one of the new themed exhibitions from The Urunga Art Space, will run from 12 March to 6 April.

“‘Tea and Sympathy’ is a playful (and serious) homage to, not only the last two, difficult years, but the longstanding tradition of comfort by the cupful,” said Chris Wilson, The Urunga Art Space.

“Just to use the phrase can summon memories both warm and poignant.”

Contributors to the exhibition have been given free rein to interpret the theme as they see it, making the resulting show possibly one of the gallery’s most unpredictable outcomes!

A stellar group of creative local artists will contribute to this show, along with perhaps one or two small surprises!

Tea and Sympathy opening night is 12 March, from 5-7pm.

The exhibition will run until 6 April.
