TUESDAY 8 February: Format for play 3 games, 2 bowls Triples 21 ends.

On the 5th end Deborah Gardner, Ingrid Luck and Lynda Richards were leading by 1 shot, (4 v 3) after that Irene Roberts, Dawn May and Karen McPhie took control winning the game 23 v 10.

Jan Coomer, Judi Polak and Dale Winter held a narrow lead all the way, finally claiming victory by 6 shots 24 v 18.

Their opponents were Francis Betar, Christine Fossey and Jean Glover, great to see Christine back bowling.

Liv Everingham, Dawn Jones and Maynie Roberts on the 17th end 27 v Sheila Rattray, Dot Dallas and Bette Saillard 9.

Over the next 3 ends Bette’s team gained 6 points narrowing their losing margin to 13, a big win to Maynie’s team 28 v 15.

The winners were the team with the highest winning margin plus a count back of ends, the prize money going to Irene, Dawn and Karen.

Dawn Jones was the raffle winner many thanks to The Garden Eatery for their donation of the raffle prize.

Thursday 10 February: Prior to play President Deyonne Page welcomed our two new members Deborah Gardner and Jane Uff.

Bev Dunn and Bette Saillard came from behind to defeat Jean Glover and Sandra Leisemann 13 v 12.

A close contest between Deborah Gardner, Karen Green and Lynda Richards 9 v Jane Uff, Judi Polak and Maynie Roberts 7.

A drawn game 9 all for Sue Morris, Lynne Green and Karen McPhie v Francis Betar, Ingrid Luck and Judy McGavock. On the 6th end Bev Rhodes, Deyonne Page and Pat Baker had scored 20, their opponents Maureen Campbell, Jill McBride and Dale Winter 1.

Things didn’t improve for Dale’s team ultimately losing by 20 points, 24 v 4.
