Email us – media@newsofthearea.com.au A spokesperson for Oakvale Farm said, ”We would like to thank our amazing team and wonderful customers for helping Oakvale Wildlife Park grow and develop into the beautiful wildlife park it is today.” Kent Samson of Oakvale Wildlife Park said the Government’s Dine and Discover program has been great to reignite tourism in the region.” Kent and Leanne Samson operate the wildlife park, which has been family owned and run for 40 years. “Oakvale is elated to see recognition from Tourism NSW. “We won Gold on Friday night. It is such a good result not only for the park but for our staff and for morale for the community. “We have been through a very rough time for the last couple of years with Covid and it is just wonderful to get that recognition, but also for people to start to be able to get out and enjoy nature and the outdoors again.” Minister for the Environment Susan Ley congratulated Oakvale Wildlife Park on the Tourism Award.
