There are no academic requirements for membership, no exams and no expectations other than that you enjoy the process of continued learning.

Anne Rutter, Publicity Officer, Myall U3A, said attending this event provides a wonderful opportunity to obtain information about the various courses on offer as well as allowing you to meet the course leaders.

“We are also excited to announce the addition of a couple of new courses: ‘Be Connected’ (a program enabling you to become more comfortable with computer technology) and ‘Card Games’ (where you can gain expertise in the games of Cribbage and Canasta),” Anne said.

Myall U3A also offers Art Group, Friday Presentations, French for beginners as well as for intermediate and advanced language lovers, Friends of Film, Garden and Nature Club, Opera in the Afternoon, Photography, the Writers’ Group and Yoga.

“We are also planning to restart some programs that fell victim to Covid-19 restrictions during the past 18 months.
“These are the very popular Choir and our River Radio Theatre,” Annie said.

Community members can enrol in as many courses as they wish for the annual fee of $40.00.

If you’d rather enrol or renew your membership online, you can find the 2022 Course Information Guide at www.myallu3a.org.au where you will also find online enrolment instructions.

Alternatively, enrolment forms are available at Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest Post Offices, and the Tea Gardens Library.
