WHAT a great week of golf to finish a fantastic year at Bulahdelah Golf Club.

Thirty vets enjoyed their last game for 2021 on Thursday with a three club and putter Stableford event.

Just twelve holes, followed by a delicious BBQ – for some players, the best part of the day.

D.Schoonhoven won the day with 30 points, followed by H.Pierson with 29pts and M.South with 28 pts. Caravan Dave won the raffle (thanks to K & M Hughes for donating the rice-cooker).

72 players enjoyed a rather hot summer’s day on Saturday 18 December, contesting the traditional Christmas 4 person Ambrose – sponsored by Al & Barb.

The winners were Mullets Men (Mullet, Geoff, Alex & John) with a great score of 46.625.

Dorney’s Donkeys came 2nd with 47.5 followed by Hawks Nest 4 with 47.625.

Barbie’s Bulldogs won the best decorated cart, and they came 4th with 48.375.

NTPs were C.Littlechild, B.Allen, W.Coleman, G.Harvey. R.Jacobsen, Scuba, H.Aitken.

Long drivers were J.Small, A.Benson, R.McSweeny & B.Gordon.

Barb also won the Jackpot.

Well done to everyone who participated and to all those who helped make the event memorable.

Normal weekly golf will resume on Thursday 6 January with the Vets Monthly Mug, and Single Stableford Medley on Saturday 8 January.

The King of the Mountain event will be held on Monday 10 January.
