Man charged following investigations into fatal Pindimar crash Myall Coast by News Of The Area - Modern Media - December 13, 2021 A MAN will face court next month after being charged with a fatal crash on the state’s Mid North Coast. Email us – media@newsofthearea.com.au “The woman stopped her Nissan Dualis on the shoulder of Pindimar Road, when it was struck by a Subaru Forester,” NSW Police said in a statement. Emergency services attended the scene, however, the 64-year-old Bundabah woman died at the scene. The Subaru driver, a 46-year-old Pindimar man, was freed after being trapped and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition. A crime scene was established by officers from Port Stephens Hunter Police District which was later examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit. Following extensive investigations, on Monday 6 December 2021, the man attended Manly Police Station and was charged with a number of offences including: Aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death – speed > 45 over limit, Dangerous driving occasioning death-drive speed dangerous, Dangerous driving occasioning death-drive under influence, Dangerous driving occasioning death-drive manner dangerous, Negligent driving (occasioning death) and Drive with middle range PCA.
