Council Seeks Local Creatives And Businesses For A Creative Services Panel

COFFS Harbour City Council is seeking to assemble a ‘creative services panel’ of suitably experienced professionals and businesses to provide one or more of a range of creative services to assist with marketing and communication activities.

Businesses that involve photography and/or videography services, branding and/or graphic design, print management and/or direct mail, digital marketing and/or website services and/or other services required as part of a promotional and marketing campaign can register with Council.

The promotion of services, facilities, initiatives and programs to the community, from the arts through to tourism, nature programs, environmental education, disability initiatives, lifeguards, events and sports is a huge job and
and adding local creative businesses to the panel helps the Council access these suppliers more readily.

Sole traders through to medium and larger sized agencies are welcome to express interest and specialisation in one area.

A Council spokesperson said, “The creation of a pre-qualified list of suppliers across creative services is more efficient from a procurement perspective.

“Having one centralised database on which to call upon when the need arises will save time for Council staff and for creative businesses who often have to submit their credentials on multiple occasions.

“This will also unearth some of the local creatives and businesses we might not be aware of and we know this sector is growing year on year.”

Once established, it is anticipated that the panel will be reviewed and refreshed every 12 months.

The creative business call-out began last Monday, 6 December, and closes on 24 January, 2022 giving businesses and creatives plenty of time to work on their submission.

The Council aims to have the panel finalised by the end of January, 2022.
