Cast your vote for some Christmas cheer at North Arm Cove

MAKE the upcoming Local Government Election voting day (December 4) a Christmas shopping day and support a cause that has touched us all.

It’s been a long time coming, but the North Arm Cove Stitch Gatherers can now announce with great pleasure that a ‘Christmas Cheer’ community fundraiser will be held on December 4 at the North Arm Cove community hall, from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

This event replaces the Biggest Morning Tea which was cancelled in 2020 and again in May this year.

With all proceeds going to the NSW Cancer Council, the Stitch Gatherers will be manning three stalls in the community centre grounds.

One will feature preloved and new items from $2 to $10, with the second dedicated to handcrafted wares, many with a Christmas theme.

On the third stall, you can take a break from voting and shopping to enjoy a sausage sizzle, coffee and cake.

Raffle tickets will be on sale and there are some quality prizes to be won, including a stunning hand made quilt.

If you can’t make it on the day, your donation to support vital cancer research will be welcome and if you are voting elsewhere, why not just head along for the sales, great food and good company.
