COFFS Harbour Swimming Club dive back into action as Covid restrictions ease and community sport returns.

The first club night since lockdown is on Friday 29 October where the intermediate and advanced swimmers take to the outdoor 50m pool and the novices practice in the 25m indoor pool.

The swim club excelled at carnivals and regional events prior to the cessation of community sports and are now seeking to bounce back.

With the easing of restrictions the swim calendar has started to reopen with upcoming carnivals and racing galas scheduled which swim coach Daniel Bannerman has welcomed.

“The kids are looking forward to racing again at club nights each Friday and upcoming local swimming carnivals over the coming weeks.

“They will be using these carnivals to gain qualifying times for Swimming North Coast championships to be held in Coffs Harbour on 11 and 12 December.

“If you are interested in joining the swim club, come along to the Olympic pool on Friday nights at 5:30pm or email coffsharbourswimclub@gmail.com,” said Daniel.
