JTACs work from forward positions and direct the actions of combat aircraft engaged in close air support and other offensive air operations.

Their role is crucial to ensuring the precision application of air power; delivering maximum effect with minimal impact on civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Residents living in East Medowie, Salt Ash and Lemon Tree Passage can expect the range to be used consistently over these days.

Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability and these times may change.
