Fundraiser for the Hunter family after fire

Project Hunter was a huge success thanks to Jenny Hyde and all the people who pitched in to give the Hunter family a helping hand after the house fire that took everything.

Speaking with Paula Hunter this week, one could tell the family can finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

Paula said, ” Toby, Liam, Byron and I would like to thank everyone involved from the bottom of our hearts.”

“Firstly, I can’t thank Jenny Hyde enough, Jenny said from the start she wanted to organise something and just went on with it ringing, emailing and cold calling people for donations and vouchers and the like.”

“I could not even start to name individuals who helped us as there were just so many friends, neighbours and relatives who all pitched in to help us in our time of need.”

“I have a list of businesses that provided vouchers and goods for the auctions and raffles on the night, from the Hunters, Thank you! You are all wonderful.”

“It was amazing to see old friends and neighbours on the night and it was just overwhelming that they all came together for us,” Paula said.

According to sources the night was one of fun and dancing with a wonderful local community atmosphere.

All monies raised went to help the Hunters get back on their feet and to put a smile back on their faces.

With her sister still in hospital recovering from burns sustained in the fire, Paula could not believe the response and the great night had by all.
