Residents now have longer to use Dine and Discover vouchers

IF you have remaining unused Dine and Discover NSW vouchers you now have until 30 June next year to use them.

The NSW Government recently announced an extension on the vouchers until 30 June 2022.

“This extension gives people across NSW the time to use their vouchers and support local businesses once COVID-19 restrictions ease,” the NSW Government stated.

Customers can redeem their Dine NSW vouchers for takeaway food services to help support local food businesses doing it tough during the current week-long NSW statewide lockdown.

“This change encourages NSW residents to spend with local businesses when they are not able to get out and about due to COVID-19,” the NSW Government stated.

Takeaway businesses must display their NSW Government QR code and when picking up takeaway food, customers must use the Service NSW check-in.

All NSW residents aged 18 and over can apply for the four $25 vouchers.

The two $25 Dine NSW vouchers can be used at takeaway food services, cafes and restaurants, pubs, taverns, bars, wineries and clubs.

The two $25 Discover NSW vouchers can be used at amusement parks, cinemas, live music, theatres and entertainment centres, museums, galleries and historic sites, outdoor adventures, recreational activities such as go-karting, indoor climbing, mini-golf, bowling or ice-rinks, scenic and sightseeing transport, travel agencies and tours, zoos, botanic gardens, wildlife parks and nature reserves.

Dine & Discover vouchers can only be used within businesses that have implemented a COVID safety plan and are registered as COVID safe.

To obtain the vouchers, apply online at https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/dine-and-discover-nsw or call 13 77 88.
