Police appeal over alleged ‘upskirting’ incident at Taree Regional News by NOTA - April 30, 2015May 13, 2015 Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries into reports of alleged ‘upskirting’ incidents in Taree since last month. Police from Manning Great lakes Local Area Command received reports that a man had been allegedly filming up women’s skirts at a shopping centre on Manning Street. Reported incidents occurred about 2.15pm on Thursday 16 April and 2.25pm on Tuesday 5 May 2015. Police are investigating the matters and are hoping to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, and aged in his early 20s. He is depicted in the image as wearing jeans, a dark-coloured t-shirt and a baseball cap. Police are urging anyone with information about the identity of the man, or who has information about these or similar incidents, to call Taree Police on (02) 6555 1299 or via Crime Stoppers.
