No crowds at the Sawtell Cup

TWO of the biggest race days of the year are set to be held in the next two weeks at the Coffs Harbour Racing Club.

The Sawtell RSL Sawtell Cup will be held tomorrow with 8 action packed races on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately, Racing NSW advises that following potential COVID-19 exposure sites in the Coffs Harbour area, the race meeting scheduled for Saturday 24 July 2021 will be closed to members, the public and owners.

Only Essential Personnel are permitted to attend the meeting.

The Coffs Coast’s most prestigious race event of the year will be held on Thursday, August 5 with the running of the Coffs Harbour Gold Cup 2021.

Now in its 56th year, the Coffs Cup has grown to be an iconic event each year with trainers and jockeys travelling far and wide to compete for the prestigious Gold Cup.

Coffs Cup 2021 will feature an 8 race TAB program and the popular Fashions on the Field with thousands of dollars of prizes to share in.

Following on from the Sawtell and Coffs Cups, the Coffs Harbour Racing Club will be holding a race day on Sunday, 12 September, featuring 7 races.

The Men of League Race Day will be held on Saturday, October 30, before three race days in December to close out the year; The Paradox Media Race Day on Thursday, December 2, the Christmas Party Race Day on Saturday, December 11, and the Summer Cup on Thursday, December 30.
