OWING to the continuing restrictions, and the current community concern around Covid-19, the organisers of Durrunda Wajaarr!, or Heal Country!, have decided to postpone their NAIDOC Week event, due to take place on Friday 9 July 2021.

Event organiser Uncle Micklo Jarrett said, “We want to offer a celebration to the community that everyone can enjoy, and with COVID concerns are some people that may not come to the event that otherwise would.”

The new date for Durrunda Wajaarr! is set for Friday 1 October.

The organisers would like to thank the community for the enthusiasm and support they have shown for Durrunda Wajaarr! and would like to let everyone know that they are planning for a nyanggan, deadly, event in October.
